Frequently asked questions
Is ChoreMonster really free?
Yes — completely. You can generate, preview, and download printable chore charts without paying or creating an account. The site is supported by ads, which is what keeps it free for families.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. There's no login and no account. You answer a few questions, get your chart, and download it. If you'd like it emailed to you, you can optionally share your email — but there's always a skip-and-download option.
How are the chores chosen for each age?
The generator is informed by child-development guidance on what's realistic at each stage: simple single-step tasks for toddlers, two-step chores and routines for early school age, and genuine responsibilities and life skills for tweens and teens.
Can I use this for a child with ADHD?
Yes. Turn on the "extra structure and visual cues" option and each chore is broken into clear micro-steps with immediate daily rewards — an approach many families of kids who need extra structure find helpful. It's supportive guidance, not medical advice.
Do you collect any information about my children?
No. Your child's name and age are used only to generate the chart and appear on the PDF — they're never stored on our servers. ChoreMonster is designed to be parent-facing and COPPA-safe by design.
Can I print the chart on standard paper?
Yes. Every chart is a PDF sized for US Letter and prints cleanly on A4 too, in color or black and white. Print it, stick it on the fridge, and check off the boxes by hand.
